Good evening,

This is the last post about our group trip.
We went to a village on Lake Biwa (Same lake Hikone is at but other side). It is known for its glasmanufacturing.
So first we visited the Glasmakersstreet, but because it was very much selling and only little showing how it is done we took a detour to a temple and the castle. Just Frank and me.
The shopping roads still look like they did 200 years ago.



Der letzte stop war eine Ortschaft die für ihre Glasmanufacturen bekannt ist. Da der Ort aber viel mehr aufs Verkaufen als aufs Vorführen der Techniken ausgelegt war, sind Frank und ich kurzerhand zu einem Tempel in der Nähe und zur Burg des Ortes gegangen.
Das ist eine der Straßen im Glasmacherviertel. Sie sieht noch genau so aus wie vor 200 Jahren.

This is the well were you wash your hands and mouth when you enter the temple. And this is the main altar. You can see by this that the village was very wealthy when the temple was build.



Der Hauptaltar des Tempels. Man sieht, dass dieser Ort viel Geld gehabt haben muss, als man den Tempel gebaut hat. Der Tempel selber ist auch nicht gerade klein.

Heute ist eigendlich nichts interessantes passiert. Ich hab gearbeitet, und mache das jetzt auch wieder.
Nothing happend today. I just worked and that is what I am now going to do again.
